As I sit here typing this post, I am still in awe of what has happened these past few days in the city of San Francisco. The city has literally changed my life for the better. Matthew and I went to the 3-day festival called "The Outside Lands" which took place in the Golden Gate Park. The weather was a far-cry from what we have experienced in Ohio as of late, and I was literally shaking every evening from the inevitable cold. Either way, I still had one of the best times of my life. I got to see one of my favorite bands The Arcade Fire! They are amazing live in-person! Seeing The Arcade Fire made me realize that if Matthew's band Matthew & McCray take-off, I will be in the front of every show screaming the lyrics to every one of his songs. I am really exciting to his band started, and I can't wait to take you all on this journey! I'm also still in the midst of making this blog as perfect as it can be! So stay along for my journey and continue to rock-on in this awesome thing we called life! On the 1st day of the festival, Matthew wanted to see Big Boi, but instead he canceled after trying to fix his broken set for over 2 hours. It was a big let-down, but somehow Dave Chappelle appeared out of nowhere! He told one joke and everyone in the crowd went wild! He disappeared in the background afterward, but it was nice to see someone from Ohio! On the 3rd day of the festival, I met Rumi Neely(!!)of Fashion Toast! Excuse the terrible quality as it was taken on an iPhone, but have you ever met a celebrity or someone well-known, and was so surprised that you somehow did, and didn't know what to say?! That is totally the type of person I am. Here I am muttering that I'm a reader of her blog, and was too embarrassed to say anything else. So Rumi, if you're reading this, I'm sorry if I seemed like an idiot. I am a terribly shy individual. I hope I didn't bother you!
