My Spring Fashion Adventure with Sears Canada x eLUXEby Vickie L. on Mar 09, 2015
If you follow me on IG, you may have noticed me gramming up a storm during a recent trip to Toronto with Sears Canada and eLUXE.ca. Well the time has finally arrived to share what we’ve been working on, and let me tell you, I’ve been dying to fill you guys in! Along with four other Canadian bloggers, I got to spend a day getting dolled up and playing with Sears Canada’s spring collection, which is packed with some amazing pieces that you can mix and match to form countless options (believe me, we did it). From pastel separates and lightweight knits, to print-infused everything, the Sears Spring LOOK! Report is bursting with on-trend options. My picks? Why anything with a playful print, of course!
For my first look, I decided to mix a fun graphic tee with a patterned pencil skirt for visual impact, and draped a denim jacket over my shoulders for an effortlessly cool vibe. I love how versatile this particular look can be, casual when worn with booties and a jean jacket, yet instantly elevated by the addition of heels and a structured blazer. Plus all three of these items were so comfortable to wear, I just couldn’t resist!

Next up, I paired a classic striped top (the ultimate spring must-have) with a floral capri pant, creating contrast while finding cohesion within a black-and-white colour scheme. A desconstructed black blazer anchored the look, making it appropriate for both work and play, while a stiletto and oversized bag made the look all my own.
What I love most about all these items is how effortlessly they can be incorporated into my current wardrobe, making them a functional transition into spring. But don’t just take it from me — see how the other ladies made the spring collection their own in the full Lookbook on eLUXE.ca here, and for a peek at all the goods, be sure to check out the Sears Spring LOOK!
